Copper- CAT 6A system - SFP+ Direct Attached Cables

Belden SFP+ and QSFP+ Direct Attached Copper (DAC) Cables deliver lower power, lower latency, and higher density benefits for 10G and 40G applications.  Use of Belden DAC can cost up to three times less than fiber optic solutions and may consume up to 50% less power than traditional copper twisted pair systems.

Becoming increasingly popular for short distance top-of-rack (ToR) and middle-of-row (MoR) Data Center deployments, Belden DAC will also provide enhanced scalability and flexibility. By connecting several servers or storage devices together in a single rack, the use of intermediate patch panels is eliminated and cabling outside of the rack is limited to the main switch connection, making it easy to move racks, deploy one rack at a time and isolate cabling changes to a single rack.

Offered in a range of lengths up to 7M and manufactured using Belden’s Lightskew™ Series twinax cables, Belden Direct Attached Cables provide better cable management for high density deployments and enhanced electrical characteristics for the most reliable signal transmission.
